Tatiana Tarasova called Frank Carroll an outstanding American coach

Honored Coach of the USSR Tatyana Tarasova told that American figure skating coach Frank Carroll was an outstanding specialist and a wonderful person.

Earlier, the press service of the American Figure Skating Association announced that Carroll died at the age of 86.

“For so many years, the professional activities we are involved in have crossed paths a hundred times. He was an exceptional American coach. Her work was visible, all of Michelle Kwan’s victories are associated with her name. It’s a shame that he died, such a talented and wonderful person, a wonderful coach,” Tarasova told .

Carroll has worked over the years with Olympic and world champion Evan Lysacek, two-time world champion and Games silver medalist Linda Fratiani, five-time world champion and two-time Olympic medalist Michelle Kwan, and others Olympic medalists Mirai Nagasu, Denis Dix, Gracie Gold and Timothy Gable.

The specialist was inducted into the World Figure Skating Hall of Fame in 2007.
