As of June 15, fourteen Russian athletes have been granted neutral status to participate in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, according to the official website of the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
The list included Tamara Dronová Alena Ivanchenko, Alexander Vlasov (all cycling), Angela Bladtseva (trampoline jumping), Nachyn Mongush, Shamil Mamedov, Arslan Bagaev, Abdulla Kurbanov, Alan Ostaev, Magomed Murtazaliev, Natalya Malysheva, Veronika Chumikova, Alina Kasabieva, Elizaveta Petlyakova (all wrestling).
The Games in Paris will take place from July 26 to August 11.
The International Olympic Committee (IOC) announced in December 2023 that it would allow Russian athletes who successfully qualified for the 2024 Olympics to have individual neutral status without a flag, anthem or other national symbol. The IOC also banned the participation of athletes associated with security forces or who have expressed support for the SVO.
