— Do you still feel bad because Russian athletes are not allowed to participate in the Olympics?

– Of course, my soul hurts. I want to go to the Olympic Games, I bet my life on this participation. And everything is done so that I don’t go there. This can only be upsetting. I have a question: for what, why? I am not responsible for anything.

-What would you say? [главе World Athletics] Sebastian Coe, what would you ask him?

– I would just like to ask: why? It is not my fault. Why are you suspending me? “I am an ordinary athlete,” reports Knoroz, correspondent.

Russian track and field athletes have been suspended from international competitions due to the situation in Ukraine by decision of the World Athletics Association.

The BRICS Games take place in the capital of Tatarstan from June 12 to 23.
