Silver medalist at the Russian World Championships Danil Lysenko became the winner of the high jump competition at the BRICS Games, which is held in Kazan.
Lysenko showed a result of 2.30 meters. The second was Pavel Seliverstov (2.30), who lost to Lysenko in attempts, the third was Nikita Danilov (2.27). Both athletes represent the Belarusian national team.
Russian Maxim Afonin won silver at the BRICS Games in the shot put with a score of 20.28 meters. Belarusian Oleg Tomashevich won (20.71), Russian athlete Alexander Lesnoy won bronze (18.95).
The BRICS Games take place in the capital of Tatarstan from June 12 to 23.
