Russians are all over the podium in the 10km foot race at the BRICS Games in Kazan

Russian Sergei Kozhevnikov became the winner of the BRICS Games in Kazan in the 10-kilometer running race.

Kozhevnikov showed a result of 38 minutes 16 seconds. Russian Vasily Mizinov won silver with 38.34, his compatriot Sergei Shirobokov was third with 39.23.

Russian Lyubov Dubrovskaya became the winner of the 5000 meters with a result of 15 minutes 33.92 seconds. Her compatriot Olga Vovk showed the second result – 15:35.88, another Russian Maria Ermakova won bronze – 15:42.64.

Russian Elena Sokolova won gold in the long jump – 6.71 m. Another Russian, Ekaterina Levitskaya, finished second – 6.45, her compatriot Ramilya Valitova took third place – 6.15.

Belarusian Alena Dubitskaya became the winner in the women’s shot put (18.58 m), the silver medal was won by the Russian Alena Gordeeva – 17.70, the bronze medal by another Russian Olga Batyreva – 17 ,32.

Belarusian athlete Anastasia Maslova took first place in the hammer throw – 72.26 m, the second was another representative of Belarus Elena Soboleva – 70.38, Russian Elizaveta Tsareva won bronze – 67.96.
