The Ukrainian women’s 3×3 basketball team qualified for the 2024 European Championship. The men’s team failed to make it to the finals of the competition.
The Ukrainians met in the semi-finals with the hosts of the qualifying tournament, the Slovak national team. The blue and yellow took the initiative from the start and confidently defeated their opponents – 21:13. Reaching the finals of the tournament allowed us to qualify for Euro 2024.
The Ukrainian men’s team lost to Germany in a dramatic match in the quarterfinals of the qualifying tournament. Regular time ended in a draw – 19:19. Already in overtime, the Germans were the first to score the winning points.
The Ukrainian women’s team will play at the European 3×3 Basketball Championship for the second year in a row. The tournament will take place from August 22 to 25 in Vienna.
