Shubenkov won silver at the BRICS Games on Sunday in the 110-meter hurdles, clocking 13.70 seconds. First was Artem Makarenko (13.55).
— The only thing I didn’t like was my second place and the result of 13.70 seconds. Otherwise the competition is excellent. The BRICS Games are an explosion in terms of organization! I understand that the scale is a little more modest than in Paris (at the Olympics) – I mean the number of participants. Otherwise, there is no difference with tournaments like the European Championships. All the color of BRICS came to Kazan. This has not happened for a long time, I really missed such international competitions, ”the correspondent of reports Shubenkov’s words.
The BRICS Games in the capital of Tatarstan will end on June 23.
