Jamaican sprinter, eight-time Olympic champion Usain Boulon announced on social media that she had undergone a successful operation.
In early June, Bolt, 37, suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon during a charity soccer match.
The Jamaican native posted a photo from his hospital room, showing his leg in a cast.
“The operation was successful,” wrote the Olympic champion in the caption of the photo.
Bolt retired from athletics after the 2017 World Championships in London and remains the world record holder in the 100m and 200m.
