The midfielder signed a two-year contract
Polesie officially announced the signing of the midfielder Alexey Gutsulyak.
The 26-year-old footballer signed a two-year contract. As part of the Zhytomyr team, Alexey will wear number 11.
Gutsulyak began his football career in the Carpathians, played in the youth team of Villarreal, and then in Desna. In 2021, the midfielder moved to Dnepr-1.
Last season, Alexey played 32 matches for Dnipro in all tournaments. Gutsulyak scored nine goals and gave four assists.
Earlier, Polesie signed Bosnian striker Admir Bristric. The 21-year-old forward arrived on loan with an option to buy from Slovenian Olympia.
Polesie started the season under the leadership of Yuri Kalitvintsev, but Sergei Shishchenko led the team to fifth place and qualification for the Conference League. In the 2024/25 championship, the team will be led by Imad Ashur, who previously worked at the head of the youth team of Dnepr-1.
