The diving competitions at the BRICS Games in Kazan took place from June 16 to 18. The first-ever World Friendship Games will take place from September 15 to 29 in Moscow and Yekaterinburg.

— The next motivation for our athletes is the “Friendship Games”. We understand that we have older athletes, like Kuznetsov, Ilinykh, Bondar, Polyakova. They have already experienced more than one edition of the Olympic Games; the Friendship Games now serve as motivation, probably to end their careers. Today, it is no longer a point, but an ellipse. Each of them will decide for himself whether he is ready to work, to work more. It is clear that this becomes more difficult to achieve every year.
