Athletistic/Cycling. Russian road cyclist Alexander Vlasov has refused to participate in the Paris Olympics. This was announced by the President of the Russian Cycling Federation Vyacheslav Ekimov.

Last week, the IOC included Vlasov among 14 Russian athletes admitted to the 2024 Games. Besides him, Tamara Dronova and Alena Ivanchenko were also approved among the female cyclists.

“Vlasov refused to participate in the Olympics because the profile of the Parisian circuit does not suit him. In addition, his schedule is very busy,” Ekimov quotes, according to TASS.
