Russian swimmers Miron Lifintsev, Egor Bakhur, Arina Khiteva and Maria Poleshchuk won silver medals in the 4x100m mixed medley relay at the BRICS Games in Kazan.
They showed a result of 3 minutes 50.48 seconds.
The first were Belarusians Anastasia Shkurdai, Ilya Shimanovich, Anastasia Kuleshova and Ruslan Skomoroshko, who covered the distance in 3 minutes 49.15 seconds. The first three were completed by the Brazilians Maria Luiza, Joao Luiz Gomez, Beatriz Bezerra and Victor Guimaraes (3.54.29).
In addition, Russian German Zazhirsky won silver in the 200 meter butterfly, covering the distance in 1 minute 58.50 seconds. The first was the Belarusian Ivan Shamshurin (1:57.65), the third the Russian Grigory Vekovishchev (2:00.83).
In the women’s 100m breaststroke, Belarusian Alina Zmushko won (1:06.86), Russian Ralina Gilyazova (1:08.90) was second and Belarusian Anna Petrutskaya (1:09.70) third.
