The Ukrainian’s path to the quarterfinals was blocked by the Portuguese Elias
Ukrainian tennis player Vitaly Sachko failed to make it to the quarterfinals of the tournament ATP Challenger 75 in Poznan, Poland.
The dramatic confrontation between the Ukrainian and the Portuguese Gashtau Elias included three sets and lasted more than two hours.
Vitaly lost the first game without much chance, giving away his serve three times. But he took revenge in the second, making a timely break with the score 5:4. But the decisive set was again in Elias’s hands, who took six games in a row.
Let us remind you that in the first round Sachko beat the Croatian Matej Dodig. At the same time, his compatriot Belinsky lost to Pole Kamil Majchrzak in his debut match at the main draw level of ATP Challenger tournaments.
