The Ministry of Sports did not provide information on how riders should arrive at the competition
Team of Ukraine will miss Europe championship on cycling on the highway in the elite category. According to the President of the Cycling Federation Andrey GrivkoFVSU cannot confirm the participation of the organizers due to the lack of necessary information from the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
It is reported that the FVSU applied to the Ministry of Sports for funding and clarification of the procedure for the arrival of participants to the competition. The officials did not give an answer, so the team could not provide guarantees of participation until August 1, as provided for by the competition regulations.
At the last European Championship 2021 in Trento, Italy, Ukraine was represented in all types of elite competitions.
The Continental European Road Cycling Championship will take place in Munich from 14 to 21 August.
