Olympic champion Yuri Berejko moved to “Belogory” reports the press service of the Belgorod volleyball club.
The length of the 40-year-old’s contract has not been specified. Berezhko’s last club was Turkish Spor Toto, for whom he played since 2023.
Previously, Berezhko played for Dynamo Moscow, Zenit Kazan, Lokomotiv Novosibirsk, Neftyanik Yaroslavl, Turkish Galatasaray and Italian Modena.
Berezhko is a three-time champion of Russia, a four-time winner of the country’s Cup and Super Cup and winner of the Champions League.
As a member of the Russian national team, Berezhko won gold at the 2012 Olympic Games in London, as well as bronze at the 2008 Games, gold and silver at the European Championships.
