Colombian defender does not want to stay in Ukraine after night shelling and blackouts
Highly likely Colombian defender Brian Ceballos won’t be in Dynamo. According to journalist Igor Burbas, the player arrived in Kyiv yesterday with his father, but due to a night missile attack and a blackout, he did not even undergo a medical examination.
Having felt the consequences of Russian military aggression, the 23-year-old center back is already skeptical about the possibility of his further stay in Ukraine.
Let us remind you that it was previously reported that the Kiev club and the Brazilian Fortaleza had already agreed on the transfer of the player. It was assumed that the transfer amount would be $1.5 million, and Ceballos, after passing a medical examination, would sign a five-year contract with Dynamo.
Ceballos has a contract with the Brazilian club until the end of 2026, but plays on loan for Colombian Junior. This season, the defender has made eight appearances for the club in all competitions.
Dynamo took second place in the UPL at the end of the 2023/24 season. Alexander Shovkovsky’s team will play in the Champions League qualifications, starting from the second round.
