Tarasova: “If we conclude an Olympic truce, then our athletes should be allowed to participate in the Olympics”

Athletistic/OI-2024. Tatiana Tarasova, honored figure skating coach of the USSR, spoke out on calls for an Olympic truce during the Paris Games in 2024. Earlier, the President of the UN General Assembly, Dennis Francis, called on all states to demonstrate their commitment to the Olympic Truce during the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris.

“If we are talking about an Olympic truce, then our athletes should be allowed to do so. A truce is only possible if our athletes are allowed entry. What kind of truce can there be if our men are not allowed in? Who are we going to support? As for the athletes who will participate in these Olympics in neutral status, I treat everyone well,” Tarasova said in an interview with Sport24 correspondent.
