Olympic champion skier Veronika Stepanova published in Telegram a letter from a young fan and namesake and admitted that she had been skiing since the age of 7.

Yesterday there were roller skating competitions. I was racing with girls who are a year older than me, I fell on the turn, I pulled everything very badly. Stepanova separately noted that the letter and the video were published with the consent of the author and her mother. The 21-year-old skier won gold at the 2022 Beijing Olympics in the classic relay.
