Athletistic / Tennis. The International Olympic Committee (IOC) will announce by July 8 the names of Russian tennis players who have been added to the Olympic Games and who were not on the initial list, Match TV reports.

“This is only the first batch of Russian tennis players who have been approved for participation. We have sent the first batch and are waiting for the official refusal of those who will not go. We have sent an application to the FTR. After that , there will be a second list request until July 8,” said an IOC source quoted by Match TV.

Earlier, the IOC published a list of Russian tennis players who were allowed to participate in the Olympics. It included Daniil Medvedev, Andrei Rublev, Karen Khachanov, Roman Safiullin, Daria Kasatkina, Lyudmila Samsonova, Ekaterina Alexandrova and Mirra Andreeva. But it is known that Rublev, Khachanov, Kasatkina and Samsonova refused to participate in the Olympics.
