The Russian Diving Federation, together with the Moscow Diving Sports Federation and the channel, presents the Kremlin Diving Cup, which will be held on August 6 and 7 in Moscow in the outdoor pool of the Olympic Sports Center waterways of Moscow.
Russia’s strongest athletes will take part in the competition, including 2012 Olympics silver medalist in synchronized diving from a three-meter springboard Evgeny Kuznetsov, 2020 Olympics bronze medalist in synchronized diving from a platform -form Alexander Bondar, four-time European champion Yulia Timoshinina, three-time European champion Ekaterina Belyaeva, two-time European champion Nikita Shleikher, European champion Maria Polyakova, European champion Anna Konanykhina, medalist bronze of the European Championship Ruslan Ternovoy.
Competitions are held between men and women according to a special program: from a 3-meter springboard, from a 10-meter tower, as well as in team competitions.
As part of the competition, demonstration performances, a program of shows, as well as a leisure area with entertainment will be organized.
Also, the hosts of will take part in the competition: Evgeny Evnevich, Olga Petrikova, Yana Romashkina and Karen Adamyan will test themselves and find out who can jump from the highest height. The winner will receive a prize of 100,000 rubles.
— This year, we are organizing many competitions of different levels across the country. The televised Kremlin Cup match is an opportunity to show our sport in the capital, which is missing in diving. I am sure that together with our colleagues we will be able to organize not only competitions, but a festival of diving, so that everyone can experience all the positive emotions of both elements – air and water, – said Stanislav Druzhinin, president of the Russian Diving Federation.
