Russian figure skater Kamila Valieva will enter the Moscow State University of Sports and Tourism, reports the press service of the Central Sports and Sports Center Sambo-70 of Moskomsport.
On Friday, Valieva visited the “Sambo-70” finishing school. This year the athlete graduated from the 11th grade of the educational institution.
“Today we sincerely congratulate ZMS figure skating, graduate of 11th class “B” Kamila Valieva, on receiving a certificate of completion of secondary general education! Camila worked hard to reach this important point and, despite everything, continued to be diligent in her studies.
We are proud that she started her sports journey in Moscow by enrolling in our school and are confident that by continuing her studies with our colleagues at the Moscow State University of Transport and Technology, Kamila will achieve even more success and new achievements! Congratulations on a new stage in life! – the message says.
At the end of January, the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) suspended Valieva for four years for violating anti-doping rules. The 18-year-old Russian’s suspension period begins on December 25, 2021, and her results have been canceled since that date.
