Morozko transferred to Veres on a full-time basis

Veres announced the signing of a full-fledged contract with the flanker Evgeniy MorozkoThe 31-year-old player has signed a contract until the summer of 2025.

Yevgeny spent the second half of the last season on loan from Polesie at the Rivne club. The other day, the Zhitomir team officially parted ways with the experienced player.

Morozko is a versatile footballer who can play equally well on the right in midfield and defense, and also cover the entire flank. If necessary, he can also play on the left flank. As part of Veres, Evgeniy played 13 matches, scored one goal, and gave two assists.

Veres has been active on the transfer market this summer. Earlier, the Rivne team signed forward Ruslan Stepanyuk and central defender Roman Goncharenko – both had previously played for Veres. At the same time, the club said goodbye to such performers as Denis Balan, Mikhail Shestakov, Stanislav Sharai, Vasily Kurko, Denis Yanakov, Evgeniy Banada, Andrey Kuharuk, Daniil Khondak, Evgeniy Past and Julio Cesar.

In addition, today the club announced the extension of the contract with defender Evgeniy Shevchenko.

Following the 2023/24 championship, Veres took 13th place. Rivne residents retained their place in the UPL in the play-off matches with Epicenter (1:1, 3:1).

Oleg Shandruk’s team returned from vacation and began preparations for the new season on June 25. Veres has seven sparring matches scheduled for the summer training camp. In the first of them, the Rivne team lost to Rukh (0:4).
