Real Madrid target Wirtz and Musiala in 2025

Blancos are already starting to plan their transfer campaign for next year

Madrid Real set his main goals in the transfer market in 2025 – Blancos are aiming to acquire a midfielder Bayern’s Jamal Musial and midfielder Bayer Florian Wirtz.

However, their simultaneous appearance at the Santiago Bernabeu is considered unlikely, given the difficulties in providing both with a place in the starting lineup.

Both players are currently playing for Germany at Euro 2024 at home. Wirtz took part in all four matches at the tournament (three of them started in the starting lineup), scoring one goal. Musiala started all four matches at the European Championship, scoring three goals. The 21-year-old midfielder made history by becoming the second youngest player to score three goals at the Euros.

At club level, Wirtz helped Bayer Leverkusen complete the double last season, winning the Bundesliga and the DFB Cup. Florian played 49 matches in all competitions, scoring 18 goals and making 19 assists. Jamal Musiala, in turn, played 37 matches for Bayern, scoring 12 goals and making 7 assists.

This summer, Real Madrid signed PSG forward Kylian Mbappe as a free agent, and also said goodbye to defender Nacho and striker Joselu.

Real Madrid became the champion of Spain and the winner of the Champions League at the end of the last season. Carlo Ancelotti’s team will start the new season on August 14, when they will play the UEFA Super Cup in a duel with Atalanta.
