National Hockey League (NHL) published the calendar for the 2024/25 season.
The regular season starts with the NHL Global Series matches in Prague. Buffalo and New Jersey will meet in the capital of the Czech Republic October 4th and 5th.
In North America, the games will begin on October 8. On December 31, Chicago will host an outdoor Winter Classic game between the Chicago Blackhawks and the St. Louis Blues. Another outdoor game will be held on March 1 between Columbus and Detroit.
The regular season will be suspended from February 10 to 21, when the 4 Nations Face-Off tournament will take place. It will feature teams consisting of NHL players from Canada, the United States, Sweden and Finland.
The regular season will end on April 17. Each team will play 82 games.
