Former world champion in three weight categories Vasily Lomachenko defends Ukraine from Russian occupiers. The Ukrainian joined the ranks of the defense of the territory in Belgorod-Dnestrovsk.
Manager Lomachenko Egis Klimas said the Ukrainian boxer continues to defend the country from the Russian Federation. According to the functionary, Vasily would only leave Ukraine after the war.
“Now, Lomachenko’s condition is fine. He is in a safe place in Ukraine. He is not in the war zone. Lomachenko has joined the territorial defense battalion. He is protecting his home.”

“Lomachenko will not leave Ukraine until the end of the war. Most likely, until that time he will remain there,” Klimas said in an interview with YouTube channel TMZ Sports.
Remember that Lomachenko was supposed to fight the Kambosos, however, due to the Russian invasion, he remained in Ukraine to protect it from the occupier.
