Ukrainian loses to Madison Keys from the USA
Ukraine’s first racket Marta Kostyuk lost in the third round Wimbledon 2024.
Marta faced 12th seed Madison Keys of the United States in a two-set match that lasted almost an hour and a half.
In the first set, Kostyuk lost two of her serves, managing to win one back from her opponent. In the second set, Keys made two breaks and closed the match on the return.
Let us recall that in the first round Marta beat Rebecca Sramkova from Slovakia. Then the Ukrainian beat Daria Saville from Australia.
Dayana Yastremska and Elina Svitolina also advanced to the third round of the grass major. Daria Snigur, Yulia Starodubtseva, Lesia Tsurenko, Angelina Kalinina and Kateryna Beindl have all completed their performances in the Wimbledon 2024 singles main draw.
