The forward first wants to start preparing for the season with Barcelona
Head coach Fenerbahce Jose Mourinho interested in signing a striker Barcelona Ansu Fati.
The Portuguese coach has asked about the player’s situation in Barcelona, but has not yet taken any official action. Mourinho is considering several other players to strengthen the attack and will decide on his priority targets in the next few weeks. The transfer could reportedly be facilitated by the coach’s good relationship with Fati’s agent Jorge Mendes, as well as Barcelona sporting director Deco.
Sevilla’s interest in the forward was previously reported. Ansu himself wants to start pre-season training in Barcelona and then make decisions during the summer transfer campaign.
Fati spent the last season on loan at Brighton. In Roberto De Zerbi’s team, the striker never became a system-forming player. Ansu played 27 matches for Brighton in all competitions, scoring four goals and making one assist.
Fenerbahce finished second in the Turkish Super League. Barcelona finished second in the Spanish championship.
