The Polish midfielder has signed a contract until the summer of 2027
Inter announced the transfer of the midfielder Napoli and the Polish national team Peter Zielinski.
The 30-year-old Polish midfielder joined the Italian champions on a free transfer. The player signed a contract with Inter until the summer of 2027.
Zielinski has played for Napoli since 2016. Piotr has played 364 matches for the Neapolitans, scoring 51 goals and making 46 assists.
Zielinski is also one of the leaders of the Polish national team – the midfielder has 93 games played and 12 goals scored. Together with his national team, Zielinski participated in Euro 2024, but with one point, Poland finished last in Group D and failed to reach the playoffs.
Inter won the Scudetto in the last Serie A season, with Simone Inzaghi’s team finishing first with a 19-point lead over closest rivals Milan. Inter will play their first match of the new season on August 18 away against Genoa.
