— How did you come to your show? Did you ask anyone for help and advice on the organization?
— We really have a lot of ice shows. I realized that I am 25 this year – it is an anniversary, a beautiful number. People have been asking me for a long time: “Evgeniya, when are you going to do your ice show?” I didn’t really think about it, but then I decided that at 25 I am a big girl. It is probably time to do something more for figure skating than just getting on the ice.
What keeps us in suspense is that Moscow has a very sophisticated spectator. Here people have seen many different ice shows. Of course, I ask for help. We cooperate with FFKKR, Moskomsport, Russian Railways, we have a lot of support. Everything is in development. Soon you will see the first poster of my anniversary show.
— Is there already a line of people wanting to participate?
— We announced the show quite early, it will take place only on November 15. Now the list of participants is only being approved. Of course, there will be famous figure skaters, artists, musicians and all sorts of different things.
— Share the concept of the show?
“I plan to go out on the ice several times during the evening. To do this, I will need serious physical training. I have many iconic programs that I would like to skate again in my life. There will be a lot of me, whether it will be good or not, I do not know. We are actively working on creativity. I think you will see my iconic programs in dresses in which I can still fit thanks to my childhood. We have a creative meeting ahead of us with the guys from the skaters. Let’s discuss what they are ready to do. We want to make a figure skating festival different from the others.
— Do you want to invite one of the Dynamo players? Put Tyukavin on skates?
– It’s a good idea. I’m not sure that Kostya will like it. But I will definitely send him an invitation as a viewer, – the correspondent of reports, reporting Medvedeva’s words.
Medvedeva is a two-time silver medalist at the 2018 Olympics, and the Russian also has two world championship gold medals (2016, 2017) and two European championship victories (2016, 2017).
