“The Ukrainian team became the strongest in the world at the 2022 World Games. We repeated this result, because in 2017 at the Games in Wroclaw, our team also became the strongest. We showed that we have the right to vote in the Thai Boxing Federation .
We are one of the strongest nations in this sport, so our demands must be met. If there are athletes from these countries in the next competitions, we will also ignore them.
I tell the athletes that this is our front line. The military has its own front, and we have ours. And here we must defend the interests of Ukraine. We made such a decision,” Yevtushenko wrote.
