Honored Coach of Russia Eteri Tutberidze thanked the parents of young figure skaters for their support during the master class for professional athletes and their coaches as part of the Moscow Sports Day in Luzhniki, a correspondent reported on the spot.
As part of the Moscow Sports Day, which takes place on July 6, on the territory of Luzhniki there are more than 20 thematic sports grounds dedicated to extreme sports, streetball, stuntriding, table tennis, chess, football, physical training, figure skating, fishing, as well as assembling the Rubik’s cube.
— It is so unusual to be on the ice as a participant. Here, probably, only the parents of these children and real fans of figure skating are mainly present. Thank you very much for supporting these children as well. You motivate them to grow and make fans of figure skating happy. “They probably skate and train for you at any age,” the correspondent reports Tutberidze’s words.
Under Tutberidze’s leadership, Yulia Lipnitskaya, Alina Zagitova, Anna Shcherbakova became Olympic champions, Evgenia Medvedeva, Alexandra Trusova and the sports couple Evgenia Tarasova/Vladimir Morozov became Olympic silver medalists.
