Viktor Fesechko did well in the boxers’ first fight.
WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk will fight Anthony Joshua for the second time.
Usyk’s promoter Oleksandr Krasyuk shared details about whether the Ukrainian referee will work for the rematch. According to the functionary, the possibility of Viktor Fesechko being the referee of the match is now being considered.
“Last time there was a Ukrainian side referee Viktor Fesechko. Perhaps there will be again. His candidacy was recommended by organizations. Now we are dealing with this issue,” said Krasyuk in an interview with Luckypunch.net.
Note that in the first match, Fesechko was also a member of the judge. Then he awarded the victory to the Ukrainian – 117:112.
It will be remembered that the rematch between Usyk and Joshua will take place on August 20 in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) at the Super Dome arena.
Earlier it was reported that Usyk bought the rights to broadcast the rematch with Joshua for a free show in Ukraine.
