Karpaty announced the transfer of Cruzeiro winger Stenio

Lviv continues to strengthen its squad before the start of the UPL

Carpathians winger’s transfer announced Cruzeiro Stenio.

The Lviv club reports that it has reached an agreement with Cruzeiro, which owned the rights to the player. The transfer amount and the duration of Stenio’s contract with Karpaty have not been disclosed.

Stenio is 21 years old and spent his last season on loan in the Portuguese second division for AVS. The Brazilian helped his club reach the top division, and in total, he played 18 matches for AVS and scored 1 goal.

The winger also has experience playing for the Brazil U-20 team, for which he played 8 matches and scored 1 goal.

This offseason, Karpaty have already announced the transfers of Minaj goalkeeper Alexander Kemkin, Bulgarian Cherno More midfielder Pablo Alvarez, and Chernomorets midfielder Orest Kuzyk. The Lviv club also signed three Dnipro-1 players — defenders Vladimir Adamyuk and Denis Miroshnichenko, as well as midfielder Maksym Melnichenko.

Karpaty have been promoted to a higher class following the results of last season and will play in the UPL. In the first round of the new Ukrainian championship, Myron Markevych’s team will meet Veres. The base date of the first round is August 3.
