The North Macedonia youth team player became the team’s third new signing this summer
LNZ signed the 19-year-old midfielder Mateya Angelova.
The midfielder previously played for Rabotnicki. Last season, Matej played 22 matches for the club. Angelov is a player of the youth team of North Macedonia, and played for the teams of his country at younger ages.
Matei became the third newcomer of LNZ in the current off-season. Earlier, the Cherkasy club signed the former captain of Chornomorets Ilya Putrya and the Ghanaian striker Mark Assinor.
The Cherkasy team took seventh place in its debut season in the UPL. At the same time, in the off-season, the club changed its coach: on June 10, Oleg Dulub left his post, and the next day, the Spaniard Andres Carrasco became his successor.
At the start of the new championship, LNZ will meet with Dnepr-1. The base date of the first round is August 3.
