Khephren was born in Italy and spent his early years in Turin, where his famous father, Lilian Thuram, played for Juventus at the time. The midfielder went through the Monaco football academy, and then moved from the Monegasques to Nice.
Thuram made 29 appearances for the club last season, scoring one goal and providing one assist. Hefren played one match for the French national team. The midfielder has been one of the Bianconeri’s transfer targets since last year, as they saw him as a replacement for Paul Pogba.
Juventus finished third in Serie A, which allowed them to get a ticket to the Champions League. The Turin club will begin the new season on August 18 with a home match against newcomer Como.
