England beat Netherlands in Euro 2024 semi-final with a strong will

Gareth Southgate’s team will face Spain in the decisive match

England won in a strong-willed style Netherlands in the second semi-final 2024 European Championship — 2:1.

The Oranje scored an early goal, with Xavi Simons scoring a superb long-range strike in the seventh minute. The English equalised in the first half, with Harry Kane converting a penalty.

England had the advantage in the first half, although both teams had chances for a second goal. After the break, the Netherlands regained the initiative, but failed to score.

Gareth Southgate’s side snatched victory late in normal time, Ollie Watkins firing into the bottom corner to score his side’s second.

In the final, England will play Spain, which defeated France (2:1) the day before. The decisive match of the 2024 European Championship will be held on July 14 at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin. The starting whistle will sound at 22:00 Kyiv time.
