Frenchman Letexier to referee Euro 2024 final between Spain and England

VAR will be supervised by Frenchmen Brizard and Delajod, as well as Italian Irrati.

UEFA Refereeing Committee appointed Francois Letexier from France as the main referee of the final match 2024 European Championship between Spain And England.

Francois’s compatriots Cyril Munier and Mehdi Rahmouni will be the linesmen. The fourth official will be Szymon Marciniak from Poland, who worked as the referee at the 2022 World Cup final. The VAR referee will be another Frenchman, Jerome Brizard, and his assistants will be his compatriot Willy Delajod and Italian Massimiliano Irrati.

Letexier, 35, has been an international referee since 2017 and has 65 UEFA matches under his belt. Francois refereed the 2023 UEFA Super Cup and was the fourth official at the 2024 Champions League final between Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund at Wembley.

At Euro 2024, Letexier managed to referee three matches: the Croatia-Albania (2:2) and Denmark-Serbia (0:0) matches in the group stage, as well as the Spain-Georgia (4:1) match in the 1/8 finals.

The final match of the 2024 European Championship will take place on July 14 at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin. The starting whistle will sound at 22:00 Kyiv time. The commentators of the match on the MEGOGO media service will be Vadim Skichko and Sergey Lukyanenko.
