Vernydub’s team will start the European season in the Europa League qualification in the first half of August
Krivbass officially announced that UPL.TV will become the exclusive broadcaster of the club’s matches in matches European Cup qualifications seasons 2024/25.
Since the TV rights to broadcast the qualifying matches (before the group stage) belong to the clubs, the management of the Krivoy Rog club decided to transfer its broadcast rights to the above-mentioned TV channel.
Vice President of Kryvbas Artem Gagarin commented on this step as follows:
“UPL.TV is a TV channel created by the clubs of the Ukrainian Premier League. Kryvbas transfers the rights to show its matches in European Cups for the sake of popularization and development of the channel. We call on other representatives of Ukraine in European Cups to join our initiative.”
Kryvbas took third place in the last UPL draw, scoring 57 points. The bronze medals of the championship allowed Yuriy Vernydub’s team to get a ticket to the Europa League qualification.
The Kryvyi Rih team will enter the competition from the third qualifying round. The draw for this stage of the tournament will take place on July 22. The matches of the round will be held on August 8-15. If Kryvbas successfully overcomes this barrier, it will advance to the LE playoff round (August 22-29), a victory in which will allow the team to advance to the general stage of the second-highest European Cup.
