The sparring took place as part of the preparation of both teams for the new season. The game was played in extreme heat, so the players were unable to demonstrate high speeds and an abundance of scoring opportunities. Aleksandr Pozdeev’s team had the territorial advantage, but failed to convert it into a result.
Former midfielder of the Ukrainian national team Igor Kharatin made his debut in the first minutes of Kolos. Another summer newcomer, winger Danylo Alefirenko, came on as a substitute.
Let us recall that in their first sparring match in June, Kolos beat Left Bank in a productive match – 3:2. Then Pozdeev’s team defeated FC YUKSA (1:0) and Kudrovka-Niva (3:1).
Kolos took 11th place in the 2023/24 Ukrainian Championship. In the first round of the new UPL season, Pozdeev’s team will play away against Obolon. The match will take place on Sunday, August 4, starting time is 15:30.
