Olympic cross-country skiing champion Yulia Stupak took tenth place in the sprint of the IronStar triathlon in Yekaterinburg.
The skier achieved a time of 1 hour 31 minutes 14 seconds.
The winner of this discipline among women in the “Elite” category was Anna Mikhailova, at the finish she achieved a time of 1 hour 23 minutes 9 seconds. The second was Apollinaria Bolshakova (+3.15), the leading trio was completed by Olga Sultanova (+6.31).
– Guys! I did it, 10th overall, third in the 25-29 category! I won’t set foot in open water again, damn it,” Stupak wrote on his Telegram channel.
Stupak, 29, won gold at the 2022 Olympics in the women’s ski relay.
