The miners scored five unanswered goals in their fourth Slovenian friendly match
Miner scored five unanswered goals against the Turkish Rizesporu in a friendly match at a training camp in Slovenia – 5:0.
The miners scored two quick goals. First, Egor Nazarina took advantage of a mistake by the goalkeeper and defenders when leaving the defense, and then Vinicius Tobias, the right defender, found himself at the forefront of the attack and skillfully used the moment.
Right after the break the score became big. The Turkish goalkeeper saved after a shot by Alexander Zubkov, but Kevin left him no chance on the follow-up. In the 76th minute Nikolay Matvienko made a great long-range shot. Finally, young Anton Glushchenko made a solo run, earned a penalty and converted it himself.
The miners are holding their first summer training camp at the Slovenian national team training base in Brdo. The training will continue until July 28. Earlier, Shakhtar managed to play three friendlies in Slovenia: they won a crushing victory over Bosnian Sarajevo (4:1), drew with Croatian Hajduk (1:1) and lost by a narrow margin to Serbian club Backa Topola (0:1).
Marino Pusic’s team starts the new UPL season with a match against Poliesie in the second round. The match against Vorskla in the first round has been postponed to a later date due to the players of both teams being called up to the Ukrainian Olympic team.
