Norwegian skier Petter Northug, a two-time Olympic champion, said his chances of returning to professional sport are slim, but still exist.
Northug is 38 years old and retired from skiing in December 2018.
— I train mainly for marathons. There are many other things I do in my life, but returning to professional sports is a distant dream. “I said the probability of that happening is 1%, that question is still open,” Northug quotes Daily News .
Northug won two gold medals, a silver and a bronze at the 2010 Vancouver Olympics, as well as 13 world championship gold medals.
