The agreement with the Georgian player is for five years.
Dynamo Kyiv announced the transfer of the 18-year-old midfielder Dinamo Tbilisi Alexandre Peikrishvili.
The Georgian player’s contract with the Kyiv club is for 5 years.
Peikrishvili is a product of Dinamo Tbilisi, and played for its second team last season. He played 28 matches and scored 9 goals.
Peikrishvili is also the captain of the Georgian U-18 team.
During this transfer window, Dynamo has already leased Fortaleza’s Colombian defender Bryan Ceballos, and also completed the transfers of three more Ukrainian midfielders – Oleksandr Pikhalyonok, Valentin Rubchinskiy (both from Dnipro-1) and Maksym Bragara from Chornomorets.
Dynamo is currently at a training camp in Austria. On Sunday, in a friendly match, the Kievans defeated the Danish Brondby (4:0). As part of the training camp, the Kievans will hold a number of friendlies. In particular, there are agreements with the South African Mamelodi Sundowns and the Berlin Union.
Dynamo finished second in the UPL in the 2023/24 season. Oleksandr Shovkovskiy’s team will play Serbian Partizan in the second round of the Champions League qualification. Tickets for the first, “home” match for the Kyiv team, which will take place on July 23 in Lublin, are already on sale.
Shovkovsky’s team was supposed to start the new UPL season on the first weekend of August, but its away match against Oleksandria was postponed due to the call-up of players from both clubs to the Ukrainian Olympic team.
