The Italian club have contacted the Toffees over a potential move for the Ukrainian
Ukrainian defender Everton Vitaly Mikolenko entered the list of interests Napoli.
The Partenopei spent a long time collecting complete information about the player, and later made the first contacts regarding the Ukrainian’s transfer. It is noted that representatives of the club’s management are familiar with Vitaliy, as well as the new head coach Antonio Conte, who previously wanted to sign Mykolenko to Inter.
Everton are keen to keep Vitali, while the Toffees are interested in signing Napoli midfielder Jesper Lindstrom. Talks between the clubs are still in their early stages.
Mykolenko has been playing for Everton since January 2022, when he moved from Dynamo. Last season, the Ukrainian played 34 matches for the club in all competitions, scoring two goals.
Everton will play Brighton in the first round of the Premier League on August 17. Napoli will start in Serie A with a match against Verona on August 18.
