Athletistic / Baseball. American singer Ingrid Endress has come under fire after performing the American national anthem before the show, which was part of the Major League Baseball (MLB) All-Star Game. Endress performed the anthem unsuccessfully and, after criticism, admitted that she was drunk.
The show took place in Arlington, Texas at Globe Life Field.
“I won’t lie, I was drunk. I’m going to check into the center to get the help I need. I want to apologize to everyone for singing the anthem that way. I apologize to the fans and to the entire country that I love so much,” the 32-year-old American wrote on social media.
