Athletistic / Olympic Games. Russian rhythmic gymnastics coach Anastasia Bliznyuk was part of the Chinese national team delegation to the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris (France). This became known after the publication of documents from the Olympic Committee of the People’s Republic of China.

According to TASS, the Chinese Olympic rhythmic gymnastics team consisted of 13 people, including Bliznyuk. The 30-year-old Russian has been coaching the Chinese team in group exercises since 2022. In 2023, under her leadership, Chinese gymnasts won gold medals at the World Championships for the first time (in the absence of the Russian rhythmic gymnastics team).

Anastasia Bliznyuk is a two-time Olympic champion in group exercises (London 2012 and Rio 2016). At the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, she won a silver medal in this type of program together. Bliznyuk also has six gold, two silver and one bronze medals at the World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships.
