Minaj signs ex-Podolye midfielder Prikhna

Zeljko Ljubenovic’s team continues to strengthen its squad

Minay announced the signing of a contract with the midfielder by Dmitry Prikhna.

The term of the 29-year-old midfielder’s contract with the Transcarpathian club has not been disclosed. For Minaj, Prikhna will play under number 5.

Prykhna’s previous club was Podillya. As part of the Khmelnytskyi team, Dmytro played 22 matches, scoring one goal.

This offseason, Minaj has already signed Oleksandria striker Yegor Gunichev, who played for the Transcarpathians on loan last season, on a permanent basis. Later, Zeljko Lubenovic’s team invited Bukovina midfielder Yegor Shalfeyev, and also signed another Bukovina player, defender Vladislav Dvorovenko.

In the last UPL draw, Minaj took the penultimate 15th place, which resulted in relegation to the First League. The Zakarpattia team began preparing for the new season on June 17. The team is still led by Serbian specialist Zeljko Ljubenovic, and is in “waiting mode” – if Dnipro-1 does withdraw from the UPL, then Minaj may take the Dnipro team’s place in the elite division.
