Earlier, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) published the final list of Russian athletes who will participate in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris in neutral status. 15 Russian athletes will perform in the French capital: Tamara Dronova, Alena Ivanchenko, Gleb Syritsa (all cycling), Angela Bladtseva (trampoline), Daniil Medvedev, Roman Safiullin, Ekaterina Alexandrova, Mirra Andreeva, Pavel Kotov, Diana Schneider, Elena Vesnina (all – tennis), Zakhar Petrov, Alexey Korovashkov, Olesya Romasenko (all – kayaking and canoeing) and Evgeny Somov (swimming).
