Long jumper Artem Chermoshansky underwent his first operation in Moscow, the athlete’s wife, runner Elizaveta Chermoshanskaya, said.

Chermoshansky, making his last attempt at the Russian Cup, landed unsuccessfully and injured his knee. He was taken to the hospital where he underwent surgery. The athlete managed to avoid a fracture, doctors reduced the dislocation. He was then taken to a Moscow hospital.
