Events of the Paris Games will be broadcast in Ukrainian
The MEGOGO service will broadcast all events of the men’s football and men’s basketball tournaments of the 2024 Olympics in Paris.
MEGOGO will also show part of the women’s Olympic football and basketball tournaments, tennis, boxing, wrestling and other sports competitions, including the final stages. Broadcasts will be available with live commentary in Ukrainian in the “Sports” section.
Also, as part of the partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery, during the 2024 Olympic Games, in addition to Eurosport 1 and Eurosport 2, MEGOGO will also offer Eurosport 3 – Eurosport 9 channels. These seven specialized sports channels will provide more than 800 hours of live broadcast, and will also offer delayed and re-broadcasts.
The Olympics will be available in the Sports section in a special subdivision of the same name on MEGOGO, which will open during the week of the Olympics, as well as in the form of pop-up channels Discovery+ in the Television section and in a special Discovery+ section.
Let us recall that Suspilne Movlennia will become the official broadcaster of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, which will be held in Paris in 2024. The broadcaster announces at least 200 hours of live broadcast from the 2024 Olympics and at least 100 hours of live broadcast from the Paralympics.
Ukraine will be represented in Paris by 140 athletes in 23 sports. This is the smallest representation of the blue and yellows during their participation in the Olympics.
The 2024 Summer Olympics will be held in France from July 26 to August 11. The competition will feature 329 sets of medals in 32 sports.
